Straight pricing for every job on your list.
Two handyman quotes for the same task can look completely different. We price by the job, not the hour, and we show you how the number is built so you can compare with confidence.

Step through the questions on the left. As soon as you answer the last one, we point you to the honest scope and a realistic range for a job your size.
What handyman jobs typically cost
| Cash, no ABN (No insurance, no warranty, no recourse if something goes wrong. Often disappears mid-list.) | $40 to $60/hr |
| Single item call-out (One job, one visit. Tap washer, door re-hang, shelf install. Minimum charge applies.) | $120 to $250 |
| Half-day list (3 to 4 hrs) (The standard handyman visit. Multiple items, one trip. Parts on the van for common repairs.) | $350 to $650 |
| Full-day job (6+ hrs) (Deck repairs, full room repaint, rental turnaround. We block the day and work through the lot.) | $650 to $1,200+ |
Six things that decide where your quote lands.
Every job is different. These are the variables that shift your quote up or down.
Six levers. One honest range.
Number of items
More items on the list means more time on site, but the per-item cost drops because you are sharing one call-out.
Materials and parts
Common parts (tap washers, silicone, screws) are on the van at cost. Specialty items are quoted separately before we order.
Access and height
Ground-level work is straightforward. Anything above 2.4 m, in a ceiling cavity, or in a tight sub-floor adds time and sometimes scaffolding.
Condition and age
Newer homes with standard fittings are faster. Older homes with non-standard hardware, corroded fixings, or hidden damage take longer to work through.
Every line item visible, nothing buried in a lump sum.
We break the quote into labour, materials and access so you can see exactly where your money goes.
Seven lines. Every one in writing.
- 01Same-day callback
- 02Written quote, fixed price
- 03One visit, whole list
- 04If it needs a specialist, we say so
“$4,500 the house” by text → seven lines, priced.
- 1 Same-day callback. You call or send a message. We get back to you the same business day with a phone quote for small jobs, or a time to come look at bigger ones.
- 2 Written quote, fixed price. Every job gets a written quote before we start. The price on the page is the price you pay. No hourly surprises.
- 3 One visit, whole list. Send us the full list. We quote the lot, book one visit, and work through everything start to finish. One call-out, not five.
- 4 If it needs a specialist, we say so. Electrical, gas, structural, licensed plumbing. If your job crosses a licence line, we tell you before we touch it and refer someone we trust.

Quoted before we start
What is in, what is out, agreed before we start.
Single item
One job, one visit. A tap washer, a door re-hang, a shelf install. In and out in under an hour.
Wrong when: You have a list of five or more items. Bundle them into a half-day visit instead.
Half-day list
The classic handyman visit. Send us the list, we work through everything in three to four hours.
Wrong when: The list is one item. Book a quick fix instead and save the call-out.
Full-day job
A longer job or a big list. Deck repairs, a full room repaint, a rental turnaround. We block the day.
Wrong when: Most of the list is quick fixes. A half-day visit is usually enough.
Needs a look
Timber rot, structural cracking, water damage. We need to see it before we can quote it.
Wrong when: The job is straightforward and you can describe it with a photo. A phone quote will do.
