Our system: We carry common tap washers, silicone, mixer cartridges and toilet parts on the van. Most wet-area repairs are done in one visit. For anything that requires a licensed plumber we will tell you upfront and can refer one.

Can a handyman do plumbing work?

We can replace tap washers, mixer cartridges, toilet seats, cistern components, shower heads and flexible hoses. Anything beyond that, like moving pipes, installing new fixtures from scratch, or working on gas, requires a licensed plumber. We will tell you if your job crosses that line.

How do I know if my silicone needs replacing?

If it is pulling away from the surface, turning black with mould that does not clean off, or cracking, it is time. Old silicone stops doing its job and moisture gets behind the tiles. A re-seal takes about an hour and costs far less than water damage repairs.
